Wikipedia - Kuwait Super Cup
The Kuwait Super Cup (Arabic: كأس السوبر الكويتي) is association football competition in Kuwait organised by Kuwait Football Association (KFA) in 2008 as a two-team competition. Until the 2022–23 season, the competition served as the opening match of the season and was played between the champions of the Kuwait Premier League and the winners of the Kuwait Emir Cup of the previous season. The current version has been contested since 2023–24 by four teams: the winners and runners-up of the Kuwaiti Premier League and the winners of Kuwait Emir Cup and Kuwait Crown Prince Cup, if the name of one of the teams is repeated, the third-placed team in the league will participate, followed by the fourth-placed team.
Το Σούπερ Καπ Κουβέιτ είναι ένα ετήσιο ποδοσφαιρικό τουρνουά στο Κουβέιτ που διεξήχθη για πρώτη φορά το 2008. Στον αγώνα συμμετέχουν οι νικητές του Κουβέιτ Πρέμιερ Λιγκ και του Κυπέλλου Πρίγκιπα Κουβέιτ της προηγούμενης σεζόν. Εάν ο νικητής του Κυπέλλου Πρίγκιπα Κουβέιτ είναι επίσης ο πρωταθλητής της Πρέμιερ Λιγκ, ο δευτεραθλητής της Πρέμιερ Λιγκ θα συμμετέχει στο Σούπερ Καπ. Ο αγώνας διεξάγεται συνήθως τον Σεπτέμβριο, στην έναρξη της νέας σεζόν. Το πρωτάθλημα διοργανώνεται από την Ομοσπονδία Ποδοσφαίρου του Κουβέιτ.
